Chocolate Chip Scones | French Macarons | Rustic Tortellini Soup and Italian Wedding Soup | Chocolate Chip Cookies with a Mint Chocolate Drizzle
Life has been crazy lately. I know that's all I've been saying here lately and that you've probably gotten that vibe from the lack of posts. But I just don't have a lot of extra time or energy and this blog (and reading your blogs! Sorry!) has been one of the major pieces to go. And the stuff coming out of my kitchen has been looking a whole lot better than anything coming from my closet, let me tell you. I can't remember the last time I strayed from the jeans + boots + blazer combo. BORING!
I spent last Wednesday through Sunday in Las Vegas for work, mostly working and reading in my spare time, and dreaming of cooking and food. I've developed a serious love for all things culinary and reading My Life in France by Julia Child and Lunch in Paris have only increased my desire to move to there and spend my life in a kitchen. Now I'm searching for my next food-related read. Any suggestions?

Let's move to Paris and have flats (do they have flats in Paris, or is that only in London?) next door to each other. Ready, set, go!
why don't you make more food posts then! I love reading about what you are cooking. I'm into cooking/baking too.
I love your classic style and your love of France! :) I wanted to recommend The Apprentice, Jacques Pepin's biography. Its a lot like Julia's biography- a wonderful read!

Cookies and soup are my two favorite things - that tortellini soup looks SO good, please post the recipe! It actually reminds me of a favorite Russian dish as well :)
