2010: A Year in Review
Posted by Krameymartin Labels: Anthropologie, Clothes, Entertainment, Family, Food, Friends, Getting Creative, Holidays, Home, Inspiration, Me, Style, Thoughtfulness, Traveling, TrendsWell, I kind of did a year-in-review summary in our Christmas Letter, so I'll try and keep this review, blog specific so there's not too much redundancy. Here goes!
In January of last year, I was talking about myself, showing off the decorated corners of our new house (not much has changed since), drooling over my new desk, and beginning my love affair with Anthropologie.
In February, I started doing Anthropologie reviews and attended an After-Hours party at the store, I learned to sew and made my very first dress, and I started to get introspective and talked about my dreams and the important things.
March brought a great vacation in Montana, me dressing like a character from MadMen, my darling husband turning 24 and me hosting my first giveaway on the blog.
In April, I was featured on the IFB Links A La Mode, wrote about Fictional Fashion, was inspired by the 40's, started delving into my quest to find my personal style, took another peek inside our home, found out one of my best friends was pregnant!, succumbed to my desire to look like Zooey Deschanel and cut bangs, and bought my very favorite Beda Dress.
May began my obsession with Pushing Daisies, I showed you my style icons, talked about wanting to build a wardrobe and I again got thoughtful.
June was super busy for me at work, but I found the time to post about my Dad, put together one of my favorite springtime outfits, got some fantastic photos taken by Bryan Rupp Photography and have my first official sponsor, talked about making your wishlist work for you, and saw the gorgeous Carrie Underwood in concert.
July was just as busy as June with a work trip to Seattle and family vacation at the Lake, hosted my Very Merry Blog Birthday giveaway, served as a bridesmaid in Mandee's wedding, talked about my closet organization (or lack there of), went to the Lion King and took my first trip to Farm to Fork.
August brought my 24th birthday, and my very first 30-for-30 challenge, Taylor and I took a trip up the coast and attended Rhiannon's wedding, was featured again on IFB's Links A La Mode as well as MTV Style, I talked about what Nancy Drew would wear, Stepped it Up with Kerrianne, and posted about how awesome redheads are.
September brought more awesome sponsors: Moxie, Arbonne and RoastWeb, I cruised with Cruise, I transferred my affections from Anthro to Emersonmade, I had French Envy, I went to Oktoberfest with some great friends, I worked as a styling assistant at Portland's Fashion's Night Out, we found a church, I talked about waiting for my story and I got a little honest.
With October came our second wedding anniversary, I talked about tipping the scales and we went to see She & Him with some great friends.
November was a relatively quiet month, where I sat at home and fell in love with France, renewed my passion for learning to cook, hosted a fantastic boots giveaway with Langstons, put on my Emerald Colored glasses and found the perfect trench coat.
And finally, December brought more love for all things French, Christmas, my institution of Menu Mondays, my captivation with Chloe, and a year in products.
It's been quite a year. Though this was probably one of the hardest years I've had in a while, just trying to figure a lot of things out and know how to plan for the future, God has shown me so much grace and patience! The last couple of months have found me feeling content, comforted and hopeful for the plans He has for me/us.
And as always, I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who reads this little site. It's gone through quite the metamorphosis this year, from a personal site, to a style blog and back again, and back AGAIN! Thanks for holding on and growing with me and for all your sweet comments, questions and support! It's so lovely to be able to share my many interests and passions here and find others who share them too! I plan to post some of my goals for 2011 in the next couple of days, so stay tuned! :)
Au revoir! And Happy New Year!

I remember quite a few of these posts. I've really enjoyed following your blog this year {and all of the changes}. Wishing you all of the best in 2011!
All the best for 2011. I've really been enjoying everyones look back posts, thanks for adding links to your old posts, I caught up on a few things from before I started reading your blog. Are you going to attempt making more clothes in future?
I love this. And I just posted my very own 2010 recap!
My favorite movies we watched together this year:
The A-Team
Step Up 3D
Morning Glory
Scott Pilgrim!
The most hilariously bad movie we watched together:
Tie between The Expendables and The Sorcerer's Apprentice. No, actually, I think Burlesque wins that race.
Here's to an amazing! 2011.
I loved reading your 2010 retrospective. You have quite the beautiful life and BLOG! I can't wait to read more...in 2011. :)
I loved, loved, loved the outfit you wore to my wedding :-)
