Style Star: Mandy Moore.

If you follow me on Twitter, you know that last night I experienced a renewed love for the movie Because I Said So, and more specifically for Milly Wilder's (Mandy Moore) easy, breezy style. I had forgotten how much I loved her long, layered locks, her light and airy dresses and especially that red polka dot dress. She masterfully mixes modern and vintage styles (both in clothes and her ADORABLE apartment). Great, right?

Milly

But Milly wasn't the only forgotten style star I remembered last night. I was reminded as I started to search for Because I Said So images for this post that I've always really liked Mandy Moore's style too. She does a great mix of soft and edgy. She has gorgeous gorgeous hair, no matter how it's cut and she has a beautiful smile. She has disappeared off the radar a bit in the last couple of years, but she has some new movies coming out and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her fashion choices in the near future.

Mandy Moore

I have no doubt in my mind that I'll be taking a photo of Mrs. Adams-Moore into my next hair appointment!

What do you think of Mandy (and Milly's) style?

LOVED her style in that movie! I first saw that movie in Italy (in Italian)...good times haha. :) Was nice to see it again in the states with all the real voices.

I love that movie (and own it) and my husband always makes fun of me for it! He hates it, especially since it has Diane Keaton in it (he doesn't like her). I love the red polka dot dress and the green dress she wears when the balloon gets stuck to her.

Aw, I've always thought she was such a cutie...I agree that her character in Because I Said So had great style!

I LOVE Because I Said So. Which is I suppose not surprising given our cinematic soul mate status.

I'm honestly not a huge Mandy Moore fan (though she married Ryan Adams which bumped her up five hundred notches in my book), but I loved her in that movie. And in Saved. (Have you seen that?)

The guitar playing true love of Milly's in that movie has great style, too! Casual but sweet. (I love his hats!)

I love her hair straight...its cute wavy too, but the straight look is my fav:)

I bet you will look awesome with her cut!

She can also rock the short 'do which earns points in my book. I pretty much love her in everything, even the cheesiest of films.

Funny that to Kerri, her marrying Ryan Adams took her up when to me that took her down. Ryan Adams is kind of a jackass even though I enjoy his music. I hope he's nicer to her than he is to his audience!

Love her. She is gorgeous and wears everything with style and grace. She's definitely a style muse for me as well! xoxo

Oh my, you don't know how I obsessed over that red polka dot dress in Because I Said So! I loved her style in that movie in general, but the fact that she hated that beautiful dress just about slayed me...I kept wishing she would come through the screen and give it to me instead of complaining about it ;)
