Day the first: 30 for 30 Challenge.

IMG_4478

Good morning lovelies! Today I am venturing out on a journey. A fashion journey. A month-long journey that only allowed me to select a certain amount (30 pieces*) of clothing to wear, re-wear and wear again in different and interesting ways. A month-long journey that will hopefully pad my bank account a little and teach me a little more patience and self-control.

I'm taking this journey due to the great adventure that many of my fellow bloggers have had in trying the 30-for-30 challenge, especially Ms. Kendi. She first took the challenge here, and recently finished up her second one here. I'm very excited to try this challenge and hope you'll enjoy it with me!

*Accessories (belts, jewelry, hats, etc.) not included in item count.

Here's what I'll be wearing for the next thirty days:

Good luck with your style challenge! I'm really liking those pieces you selected - they've got a perfect later summer/early fall vibe going.

Go girl!!! :-) I have to say this would be an easy challenge for me. And wouldn't curb my spending habits. Yikes. Not bragging. I should be scared for myself. and my expensive habit. Anyway- maybe I should set my OWN challenge to actually WEAR what's in my closet. Lol.

All your picks are super cute! I'm curious to watch as this unfolds, because honestly, that seems like a lot of clothes for only 30 days. 3 dresses, 6 skirts and 2 pants...that's a TON!! And 7 pairs of shoes!! I think it would be more challenging to style and accessorize if you only had 10 items.

Hurrah! I'm a big fan of (this idea, and!) your first outfit, and I love your new "When/What/Where/Why" additions to your daily outfit posts, too.

Also: "Scott, if your life had a face, I would punch it." "Yeaaahhh...wait, what?"

So were the guidelines outlined somewhere or did you outline it for yourself? Because honestly, like someone else mentioned... that seems like a lot of clothes to me. I'd be happy to just have that in my closet!
