OOTD (04.29.10) C'mon spring!

It's Thursday! Which means it's almost Friday! Which means my Dad will be here tomorrow for a weekend full of yardwork...there goes the excitement. But seriously, I'm really looking forward to having him here and spending some quality time, side by side, digging in the dirt. Unless I can weasel my way out of it.:)

I got the idea for today's outfit while shopping at J.Crew last weekend on my "official" styling/personal shopping job. Shameless plug: if you require either of these services EMAIL ME. Anyway, in stores they have a lovely gray and white checked top. I though, oh wouldn't that look lovely with a white skirt and that giant pink flower pin I have? Well the shirt was about $70 and I wasn't about the spend that much on a super thin button up just for the sake of a cute outfit. The day after, as I was perusing the outlet stores with my sister-in-law, I saw this lovely aqua and white checked version on the sale rack! And guess how much I paid for it? $31. And it's marked two sizes smaller than I normally wear. Freaky outlet sizing for the win!
