I had basically the same style (LONG) for the last three years-ish of college. For basketball, it was much easier to have it long and put up-able. I love it long. It makes me feel taller, thinner and more confident. Weird huh? I also never do anything to it because it takes five million years to flat iron/curl it. It spends most of it's time in a braid.
After our wedding, I cut it to shoulder length. I liked it okay. Then in February when I started my new job, I cut it to the bottom of my neck. After about a month of grow out, I started to really like it and have LOVED it ever since. My stylist did a really great job with the layers and it really has framed my face well. AND Taylor really likes it on the short side.
At this point, almost six months after the original cut, it has grown out. The layers aren't falling like they are supposed to, the ends are a little crunchy and thick and it won't fit into the cute little "short hair bun" it used to. I NEED to make a decision.
The above photos are examples of my hair at it's longest, and the cut I've had the last six months or so. What do you like better? Here are the new options I am considering:If I go short:
#1- A longer, angled bob like Gwyneth Paltrow.
#1- A longer, angled bob like Gwyneth Paltrow.
#2- A more layered cut like Heidi Klum.
If I find a happy medium:
#3- A shoulder length layered cut like Julianne Moore.
If I decide to grow my hair out:
#4- Long layers like Jennifer Aniston.

I voted for Julianne, because I think that length would look fantastic on you, especially because it seems like you have a bit o'wave to your locks. But I also think the Heidi cut would be super cute. Can't wait to see what you choose!

I love Juliannes hair. And I think the cut you have had the past six months works for you. It makes you look older, in a good way. Long hair tends to make people look a little juvenile. But I love Juliannes, my second would be Heidis. =D
I think you can do both Julianne and Heidi because if you straighten it you've got Heidi and if you let it air dry or use a curling product, you've got Julianne.
I like the length the way you've had it recently because it frames your face.
Julianne, because your hair looks lovely when it's wavy.

I like the wave of Julianne's but I don't like the length all too much. I feel like it needs to be a bit longer or a bit shorter. I actually really like Gwyneth's or Heidi's if you want to keep it shorter.
I think all of these would look lovely on you - but I particularly love Heidi's cut. Then again, the elvel of frustration with my hair has reached an all time high, so I'm about to head to a stylist to get my head shaved...so take my advice with a grain of salt.
Heidi Klum is hot. You can't go wrong with her. =)
voted for heidi as well! i think the shorter do will be great (and great for hot weather!).
