Why:
When I first tried on both this skirt and top, I tried them together. So as soon as I procured them both, I couldn't wait to wear them together. I added the hair bow I've been trying to figure out how to wear and some black accents to tie it all together. What do we think?

Why:
I can't lie to you, I struggled with what to wear this morning. It's been chilly the last few days, but warmed up today so I didn't want to wear too many layers. Also, my boots, which I almost always wear with this dress are still wet from being polished. Quite a pickle I tell you. But I am excited about wearing my Falling Whistle! Such a great organization! Check them out and buy a whistle!*

Style Star: Mandy Moore.

If you follow me on Twitter, you know that last night I experienced a renewed love for the movie Because I Said So, and more specifically for Milly Wilder's (Mandy Moore) easy, breezy style. I had forgotten how much I loved her long, layered locks, her light and airy dresses and especially that red polka dot dress. She masterfully mixes modern and vintage styles (both in clothes and her ADORABLE apartment). Great, right?

But Milly wasn't the only forgotten style star I remembered last night. I was reminded as I started to search for Because I Said So images for this post that I've always really liked Mandy Moore's style too. She does a great mix of soft and edgy. She has gorgeous gorgeous hair, no matter how it's cut and she has a beautiful smile. She has disappeared off the radar a bit in the last couple of years, but she has some new movies coming out and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her fashion choices in the near future.

I have no doubt in my mind that I'll be taking a photo of Mrs. Adams-Moore into my next hair appointment!
